This isn't exactly makeup but I wanted to share it anyways. I'd been meaning to get an electric toohbrush for a while now but just hadn't made the switch. Browsing the isles of CVS the other day, I came across this amazing find!
Its the new Oral B CrossAction Power Toohbrush.
I was sucked in by it's super low sale price ($5) and so I grabbed one and also a pack of (2)refills which will last about 9 months total...

So far I've had it for a week and really like it. It's a little different than using the traditional kind and you have to change your brushing technique a bit but I would definitely recommend it. Hurry, not sure how long the sale will last!

Hello Kittens!
Ah yes, the Cat'e Eye. A look that I will wear to my death and even afterwards I'm sure! haha The other day, I was browsing my way through the makeup section of CVS in desparate need of a liquid liner and was horrified to find out they didn't carry my favorite brand! (I'll reveal what brand it is soon!) I had to improvise and noticed the Wet'n'Wild section had a little make-over of its own. "oooooh...what's THIS!?" I said out loud to my boyfriend who was not nearly as exited as I was about the discovery. It seems that Wet'n'Wild has developed a new liquid liner, (H2O proof no less!) and since I was in a bind, I picked up both new formulas (water proof and regular) to try.

Gotta say, I'm impressed with it so far although I have yet to put it to the true test and compare it eye-to-eye with my standing favorite. I'll save that excitement for my next video so stay tuned to see who the winner will be! A little quickie on the regular formula: I really liked the thinness (is that a word?) of the bristle brush. It takes some getting used to if you're used to the felt tip feeling that some liquid liner applicators have, but it gives the most perfect, sharp line ever! Go 'Wild' ! Oh and just for the record, I'm so over pencils. There, I said it.

It seems as though every time I find the perfect lip color, I fall in love only to be heartbroken by the harsh reality of it getting discontinued! It happend with "Burn Out" by Urban Decay. It happened with "Gold Digger" by Hard Candy. It happened with # V2089 by Versace. Through the years, I have learned to quickly move on to the next best color. My advice: when you fall in love with a product, buy in bulk!..I always pick up at least three at a time.

Introducing: a lipstick that I have been loyal to now for about 3 years and still have yet to find better nude shades at a better price ($1.99). It may just be impossible. What I love about this particular lipstick is that the pigment is very dense, similar to MAC, so it goes on smooth, lasts for hours, and never looks dry or flaky!
left: Natural, right: Nude

Ok now let's talk about something equally as important...Gloss. I pair Jordana's Matte Natural or Matte Nude with their Gloss in "Lady Like" ( light pink under tone) or "Beige Frost" (nude undertone). This creates the perfect pale lip look a la Kim Kardashian! Both colors work great for light and dark skin tones.
I am sad to report that tragedy has struck again and "Beige Frost" is now discontinued. However, I may check out these alternate colors:

SorbetSunset Kiss

Go to the Links page to find out where to get these Jordana products! If you live in San Jose, Foodmax on Parkmoore Ave. carries it. Weird, I know.
